Regions Hospital – Preferred Hospital of Minnesota Wild Fansimage

The puck drops. The action starts. You wave down the food vendor and settle in for the first period. Soon the horn sounds–the Minnesota Wild have scored! You stand up in your seat and high five the stranger next to you. With this excitement and 18,000 of the greatest hockey fans in the world screaming for more, there isn’t much time to think about what would happen in case of a medical emergency. Thankfully, you don’t need to.

Near guest services on the main floor, the Regions Hospital Health Station is stocked and staffed to deal with medical emergencies. Twenty Regions Emergency Medicine physicians rotate staffing the Minnesota Wild home games. The physicians are dedicated to the Minnesota Wild Fans and ensure those with medical concerns get back to watching the action.

Over 500 people use the health station during an average Minnesota Wild season at the Xcel Energy Center. During the game, Regions physicians are prepared to deal with everything from allergic reactions to life-threatening emergencies.
